GBS/CIDP Survey Results

Initial Findings

Below are the initial findings for the GBS/CIDP survey, from 12 March2012 to 17th March 2012.  There have been more than 100 replies to the GBS/CIDP survey in less than 1 week (This is not the end of the survey - I would like people to continue filling it in as it will run until March 2013).  The survey URL is: http://gbs-cidp.questionpro.com:

PLEASE NOTE: I am just publishing a selection of answers at the moment, with basic/no formatting/graphing.  Most of them are fairly self-explanatory, I have added comments where necessary (I think).  I will publish more detailed results later, with correlation between questions, as I am investigating what is useful/works (comments welcome!).

Parts of the Body Affected?

This shows the areas affected, note that on the scale 0 is No Feeling and 5 is Reasonable Feeling, so the graph is inverse (the closer the part is to the centre the less feeling in that part). So, in order, Toes, Feet, Ankles, Lower legs are the worst affected, then Fingers, Hands..... 

 

At this time I am just going to let these inital results speak for themselves.  I will attempt to draw my own conclusions when I have understood the results better.  I just thought I would publish these findings to show progress.
